Greg Heffley is determined not to be left out when his school’s Valentine's Day dance arrives, so he hatches a plan to find a date, no matter what. Things don’t go as smoothly as he hoped, and he ends up going with his best friend and another classmate as a trio. Throughout the night, unexpected moments and funny mishaps show that friendship and fun might be the best part of any celebration.
